Volunteer Pods Volunteer groups meet up every week to help out with different projects at Cruces Creatives. These projects cover all sorts of activities like soldering, organizing the makerspace, and getting involved in charitable initiatives. These groups are crucial in supporting the programs at Cruces Creatives, and they also give you a great opportunity to connect with other community members and learn new skills. To get involved, sign up for a Volunteer Orientation session on the events calendar and pick a date that works for you. The Volunteer Pods currently get together on Wednesdays, Fridays, or Saturdays. | Special Projects Special projects are an opportunity for community members to actively engage and contribute their unique skill sets. Cruces Creatives organizes many charitable programs--from project-based learning in the schools, to custom technology development for sustainable agriculture, to public art and much more-- and if you'd like to learn more or get involved, reach out to our volunteer coordinator Sandy Smith at s.smith@crucescreatives.org. | Host a Class, Workshop, or Hangout Hosting a class (a formal instruction program), a workshop (a project-based program), or a hangout (an informal, peer-to-peer gathering) is a great way to share your knowledge or gather a group of humans who share the same desire to create. Whether your skillsets are basket weaving or designing webpages, we'd love for you to share your knowledge with the community. |
