COVID-19 UPDATES

For More Updates and COVID-19 Responses Projects

Latest Information

(5/14/2020) The Governor has modified the public health emergency order, extending most provisions until at least May 31. Accordingly, Cruces Creatives has moved its tentative opening date to June 2.

(3/18/2020) New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham has announced the state will clamp down further on public gatherings to slow the spread of COVID-19, the novel coronavirus that has significantly upended American life in the last two weeks. In response, Cruces Creatives will push its reopening date to April 11, assuming no changes to these orders.

General Statements

In all of our activities, Cruces Creatives takes the health and safety of our community very seriously.

In light of the risks posed by the Coronavirus, the makerspace will be closed beginning March 14, 2020. We will monitor the situation and tentatively reopen on June 2, 2020. We are in the process of postponing/canceling events scheduled during this period - no action is necessary by those who have registered.

If you need special access to the facility (for example, to retrieve project materials), please send email to support@crucescreatives.org or post a message on Slack. We will accommodate such requests as needed.

Please heed the advice of national and local health authorities and be safe. Thank you for your continued interest in Cruces Creatives.
