Join us for a free, hands-on field day at Bodhi Farms with Micki!

At this field day, Micki will share how she starts her plants using soil blocking methods, a low-waste, soil-healthy approach to seed starting that supports strong root development and healthy transplants. Participants will learn the basics of soil blocking, including soil mix preparation, block formation, seeding, and early seedling care—techniques that can be applied at home or on the farm. Participants will help start thousands of seeds at the farm and will be able to take home a tray of soil blocks of their own.

This workshop is perfect for gardeners, farmers, and anyone interested in sustainable and regenerative growing practices. You’ll gain practical, hands-on experience while spending time at Bodhi Farms and learning directly from Micki. There will also be a seed exchange, feel free to bring some seeds!

After the field day, participants will enjoy a free, grant-funded meal on the farm.
