Using felt, safety eyes, beads, buttons, ribbons and embroidery floss, participants will get to make their own crazy little monster stuffies.  Will yours have horns and wild eyes? Or maybe a big toothy smile?  Sew a ribbon on, and your monster stuffie is ready to ‘hang around’ the house.  Wrap it up in some tissue paper and it’s ready to be a gift.

The youngest participants can help compose, while older ones can do their own hand stitching.  No previous experience necessary.

Thanks to Funding from the City of Las Cruces and the American Rescue Plan Act we are able to offer this class free of cost to all Title One students who attend schools in Las Cruces, otherwise it would cost $49.00 per person. 

Title One schools include all of the Las Cruces Public Schools, White Sands Schools, Mesilla Valley Leadership Academy, Arrowhead Park, Alma d'Arte, J Paul Taylor Academy, La Academia Dolores Huerta, Los Montanas, New America, Raíces Del Saber.
