*Please note, this camp is free for students attending a title one school. Title one schools include ALL Las Cruces Public Schools, plus a few charter schools. If you have questions about if your school is included in Title one, see more information at the end of this post.

Bioluminescent Makers

Students will have the opportunity to study various bioluminescent plants and animals, and create art inspired by them. Activities will include soldering, wiring LEDs, working with UV-reactive resin, creating renderings of glowing creatures, and more. Additionally, students will collaborate on a group project and showcase their individual works on the final day of the camp.

This class is available for all HIGH SCHOOL students attending a title one school. Please make sure students come to class wearing close toed shoes and ready to work. Students are encouraged to bring water bottles. Snacks will be available for sale.

-Bring a water bottle. Snacks will be available for purchase. Students need to wear closed toed shoes to camp. Long hair should be tied back for safety. 

Thanks to Funding from the City of Las Cruces and the American Rescue Plan Act we are able to offer these camps free of cost to all Title One students who attend schools in Las Cruces. These schools include all of the Las Cruces Public Schools, White Sands Schools, Mesilla Valley Leadership Academy, Arrowhead Park, Alma d'Arte, J Paul Taylor Academy, La Academia Dolores Huerta, Los Montanas, New America, Raices Del Saber.
