Join us each First Friday for a new art opening!
This exhibition is featuring:
What a Time to Be Alive!
a solo exhibit by photographer Phoebe Adame.
What a Time to Be Alive is a collection of some of artist, Phoebe's, favorite and most meaningful photos she has taken over the years and across the Southwest.
In exploring her new role as a woman in her family, in a culture of machismo and of masculinity, she finds comfort in the desert she calls Home by assigning new meaning to the tales that came of her experiences.
Paired with poems written along her journey, What a Time to Be Alive represents her experiences in exploring themes of heartbreak, ego-death, self-love, transition, and girlhood.
"I hope you enjoy this collection as much as I have enjoyed putting it together. What a time to be alive!" – Miss Phoebe
Stick around to listen to our All-Original Open Mic which takes place starting at 6:00pm on First Fridays.
