Join us each First Friday for a new art opening. This exhibition is featuring: Masquerade: Ducks Masquerade: Ducks has nothing to do with ducks. This is a group exhibition of four NMSU-A student painters. Their paintings are autobiographical, but they use personal symbolic codes to reflect deeply on their personal experiences. The masquerade hides emotions, it rejects intimacy. They mask their truth as a means of self preservation in various styles. They invite the audience to explore the hidden, the hidden in layered textures and complex compositions to uncover the individual artist. Stick around to listen to our All-Original Open Mic which takes place starting at 6:00pm on First Fridays. The gallery will be de-installed on May 22nd.
