Exploring Printmaking Techniques
- Monotype Week -
In Exploring Printmaking Techniques students will learn how to develop techniques using ink as well as paint to create one-off prints. Each week students will learn about different types of printmaking. Students are encouraged (but not required) to sign up for all three sessions.
In the collagraph session students will be encouraged to make multiples from the same base plate with variations.
Each session will start with an example of a finished print followed by demonstration.
Please bring: An apron, and a pair of disposable gloves.
The instructor, Noël Sandino, has been printmaking for 15 years and studied with William Harsh in California among others. She has won awards for her prints and has been juried into the California Society of Printmakers. She has taught printmaking for over 10 years.
