Join us for a Discussion with Artspace on Building and Arts-based Living Space in Las Cruces!

Las Cruces arts and community organizations are currently working to bring affordable arts housing and workspaces to Las Cruces, in partnership with Artspace—a nonprofit national developer that has brought affordable arts housing to dozens of cities around the country, including neighboring El Paso.

We’re now in the middle of a feasibility study to assess the local need for affordable living and working spaces for the arts, and your participation can help shape Las Cruces’s plan for affordable artist housing and workspace.

This special public discussion will take place on Sept 14th, 5:30pm - 7:00pm, at Amador Patio, Bar, & Grill at 302 S. Main St. Thanks to a generous event sponsorship from Nusenda Credit Union, a variety of free appetizers will be available during the meeting, the first 150 attendees will receive one free drink ticket, and live music will be provided by the Lush Life Quintet. The community discussion will be led by Artspace. Cruces Creatives is the leading event organizer, and the overall feasibility study on bringing an Artspace development to Las Cruces is funded by the Community Foundation of Southern New Mexico and the Doña Ana Arts Council.
