Event Schedule:

6:00 p.m.: Doors open, opening performance by Old-Time Pharmaceuticals

6:30-7:15 p.m.: Performance

7:15-7:30 p.m.: Intermission

7:30-8:15/8:30 p.m.: Songwriting Workshop

Tickets are on a sliding scale from $20-30. Attendees are welcome to come for the performance, the songwriting workshop, or both.

Ages: This event is open to all ages. However, just like life, the workshop and performance may include the occasional bit of strong language and some challenging topics.

About the Performer/Instructor:

A winner of both the Kerrville and Tumbleweed Folk Festival song competitions, CLAUDIA NYGAARD offers up heartfelt, humorous, scrappy, and sensual little slices of Americana, and does so with a daredevil’s vulnerability. Her latest album Lucky Girl rose to #5 on the Folk Alliance Radio Chart and received generous airplay on the Americana chart. Claudia is a charismatic performer with a quick wit and a deeply emotive amber honey voice, who sandwiches her songs in between outlandish monologues.
