Introduction to slow stitching.

Learn the basics of hand sewing and thimble use to make your own pin cushion and leather thimble.

This class will best serve those who do not yet know how to hand sew or feel very rusty. We will cover basic needle safety, the kissing knot, the quilters knot, the running stitch, back stitch and whip stitch. Everything you need to know to start your sustainable slow stitching and visible mending journey!

Please bring, if you have it:

- A metal thimble

- Scraps of cotton fabric
