Over tea and coffee, learn how you can strengthen the educational system in Las Cruces by volunteering to support experiential, project-based learning through several Cruces Creatives programs:

• CommunityShare Las Cruces, which brings community partners into classrooms, with additional support from makerspace tools and mini-grants for classroom projects;
• Hazlo, which connects K-12 students with mentors, tools, and funding to complete projects that students propose; and
• The Project Lab, which makes kid-appropriate makerspace tools available to students for school projects
• Makerspace Monitoring, which extends Cruces Creatives’ open hours and makes the makerspace more available to students, teachers, and the community as a whole.
