In this class, students will learn everything they need to use computer-aided design (TinkerCAD), a laser cutter, and a vinyl cutter to design and make a sign, photo plaque, or piece of wall art, along with laser-cut cardboard packaging to hold it. The skills students learn will be valuable in prototyping workshops, advanced manufacturing, business branding workshops, CAD/graphic design software classes, and more.

All materials will be provided.

This class is designed with 4th-5th grade students in mind.  Through a generous grant from NMSU STEM Outreach, we are able to bring the class to you free of charge.

Classes meet in person and are limited to 10 students per session. Students will be required to wear masks. We ask that adults be prompt picking up students so we can avoid congestion and maintain the limit of persons in the building.

Questions or concerns may be directed to STEAM@CrucesCreatives.org or (575) 489-6450
