Inkscape is a Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) alternative to vector graphic editing software programs such as Adobe Illustrator and CorelDraw. 

Inkscape has a wide variety of applications in the fields of graphic design, desktop publishing, automated processing, and office productivity. 

This course will cover the basics of using Inkscape. This includes:

~GUI items

~Shape generation

~Line Path generation

~Effects and Filters

~File export functions

It is advised to bring your own computer with a copy of Inkscape installed.

No previous knowledge required, basic computer skills appreciated.
