Creative Crits is a group where artists, designers, engineers, makers, leaders--anyone--can support each other through the process of creating.critiques may be brief or in-depth. You can share work that's in-progress, that needs brainstorming, or is finished.
Examples of past crits include fine-art paintings, a mural, career path options, and designs for branch locations of a local organization.
What to bring: Yourself and, if you’re sharing a work, any materials you need to explain your work and concept.
When: Second Thursday of each month
Cost: Free for members, $5 for non-members
Payment is due at registration (online registration requires payment within 15 minutes in order to reserve space in the class). Cancellations are only available until 48 hours before class. Refunds are only available if class is properly cancelled. About the facilitator: Lea Wise-Surguy is an award-winning artist who has been shown internationally and specializes in conceptual sculpture and participatory art. Lea has led multiple community projects, including leading the establishment of Cruces Creatives.
