Introduction to Weaving

Your child will learn how to warp a loom and then play with making stripes and changing yarn colors. We will use our fingers and a tapestry needle to weave.

Beginning weaving will be taught on small travel-size looms. The looms are made on the laser cutter at Cruces Creatives and are about 6x8" (150mmx200mm) in size. These looms are portable, easily held and suitable for making mug rugs or other small tapestries in a finished size approximately 5x5" (130mmx130mm). All materials are provided and students will keep their loom.
