Creative Crits is a group where artists, designers, engineers, makers, leaders, anyone can support each other through the process of creating.
Depending on the group's wants this may be short and small critiques or may be one or more long-crits. You can share work that is in-progress, that needs brainstorming, or is finished.
Examples of past crits: fine-art paintings, a mural, career path options, branch designs.
What to bring: Yourself and, if you’re sharing a work, bring any materials you need to explain your work and concept.
Cost: Free for members, $5 for non-members
Payment is due at registration (online registration requires payment within 15 minutes in order to reserve space in the class). Cancellations are only available until 48 hours before class. Refunds are only available if class is properly cancelled.
About the facilitator: Lea Wise-Surguy is an award-winning artist who has been shown internationally and specializes in conceptual sculpture and participatory art, and who has worked with and led several community projects including leading the opening of Cruces Creatives.
