Meet the Makerspace Party
Celebrate the impending launch of Cruces Creatives makerspace through a “Meet the Makerspace” party with free food and drink, informal building tours, tool demonstrations, a benefit art exhibit from NMSU art students, a disassembly table, a drone obstacle course, door prizes, and a chance to talk and network with local artists, crafters, and entrepreneurs. Learn about the Cruces Creatives makerspace and celebrate the work of the more than 100 community volunteers and makerspace sponsors--including Families and Youth, Inc.; the Arrowhead Center; Visgence, Inc.; Lowe’s Home Improvement; NMCO Media, FastWave; Nava Tech Inc; Beck’s Roasting House and Creamery; Art Obscura; MagPi Innovations LLC; Reviver Printing; Las Cruces Radio Center; Bosa Donuts; and Roadrunner Pizza--who have shared their time, talents, and resources to help bring a makerspace to Las Cruces.
