Come on out to the first poetry slam at Cruces Creatives!

Want to share your slam poetry? Bring 3 poems to compete. Prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners.

Sign up to participate when doors open. Randomly selected audience members will serve as judges.

Basic rules: you get up to 3 minutes to read one original poem. Judges determine how many points are rewarded and a total is tallied. Poets with the most points proceed to the next round. After 3 rounds a poet slam champion is born.

Free beers from Bosque Brewing will be provided by a licensed server. (Donations welcome.)

The slam is followed by an open mic--poets, storytellers, comics, and songwriters all welcome.
